Hope harvest food pantry

The Pantry at a Glance
Hope Harvest Food Pantry is the Hunger Relief Ministry of Metropolitan Cathedral of Truth Church. It opened its doors on October 1, 2016 to provide hunger relief to families in Gadsden County. The founding and lead volunteers are Keith and Karusha
Sharpe.
It is an approved partner of America’s Second Harvest of the Big Bend and Farm Share since its inception. In September 2017, Hope Harvest became a designated USDA pantry that receives thousands of pounds of free food per month for distribution to Gadsden County residents.
Hope Harvest implemented a nutrition policy from the very first distribution because
every family deserves access to fresh, healthy foods (and Gadsden County was designated the least healthy county in Florida in 2017). This means we strive to distribute fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, whole grains, and proteins while limiting distribution of highly refined and processed foods, along with foods containing a lot of fat, sugar, or salt.
