The Mission of Metropolitan Cathedral of Truth is to introduce the gospel of Jesus Christ and of His Kingdom to people of all persuasions; to teach Christian discipleship to all who believe.
Every Person-A Believer
Every Believer-A Disciple
Every Disciple-A Discipler
Every Discipler-A Leader
Before He left the earth, Jesus instructed us to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19). The call to make disciples goes beyond what the church does for those who have not heard the message of salvation and for those who have not made a decision for or against following Jesus. It also includes the care and attention that must be given to believers in order to reproduce Christ's character in him or her.
The Kingdom Life Cell (KLC) Ministry is one of the avenues of providing care for the body of Christ. KLCs are small groups in which members of Metro receive spiritual, emotional and physical care through intimate relationships. KLCs are the primary vehicles through which ministry is channeled, leaders are developed, and sinners come to know Christ.
KLCs meet within the homes on the first and third Wednesday of every month. During these meetings, members share a meal, share the challenges and successes of their day, share their hearts, share their lives, share the Word of God, and share practical ways of applying God's Word
in their daily walk. The principle of meeting within the homes is taken from the example of the life of Christ. God has used small groups throughout history to influence people's lives. Even though He ministered to masses of people, He also developed the faith of the twelve disciples in the context of a small group.
The KLCs serve to assist members in developing a passion for souls, to help members to conquer through prayer and intercession, to help members to identify their place of service in the local Body of Christ, and to cultivate communities where members would establish covenant relationships. KLCs are cultivated based on the nine characteristics of biblical fellowship where we will:
1. Share our true feelings (Authenticity)
2. Encourage each other (Mutuality)
3. Support each other (Sympathy)
4. Forgive each other (Mercy)
5. Speak the truth in love (Honesty)
6. Admit our weaknesses (Humility)
7. Respect our differences (Courtesy)
8. Not gossip (Confidentiality)
9. Make KLC meetings a priority (Frequency)
